IMC Financial Markets Amsterdam is one of Europe’s leading derivatives traders, with significant market shares in single stock and index options trading on Euronext and Eurex. We also act as a vibrant head office, setting the tone in terms of strategy and atmosphere and housing a large part of our global IT development and infrastructure department.

IMC Trading started trading on the floor in Amsterdam in 1989 as a market maker in Dutch equity options. When European exchanges started transforming into electronic market places, IMC was one of the first to successfully migrate to screen trading.

Since then we have expanded the range of products we trade in and also evolved from a pure options market maker to a hedge fund-like proprietary trading firm with various trading strategies. We specialize in the electronic trading of listed cash and derivatives markets, combined with trading via the phone with brokers or directly with third parties.

Located at the World Trade Center, the financial heart of Amsterdam, we employ over 150 people. We also host and run IMC’straining programs for new traders and employees from around the world.
