The objective of the IMC Derivatives Foundation is to improve the knowledge and promote the intelligent use of derivatives among the four main groups operating in the derivatives market, namely investors, traders, regulators and academics.

The foundation sponsors various activities, including a Chair at the Free University of Amsterdam.
