The Test Engineer is part of the Software Development team. He/she is responsible for developing and executing test plans for our In-house trading software. The test plans will need to cover functional, performance, stress and stability requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Requirement analysis
- Developing, maintaining and enhancing test cases/scripts
- End to End testing of in-house developed software
- Automation of the test procedures
- Bug reporting and tracking
- Bug analysis and reproduction
Knowledge and skill requirements
Technical requirements
- Successful track record with at least 2 years of functional software testing experience required
- Experience with test automation
- Knowledge of Scripting/programming language
- Experience with various operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, Solaris, and Windows
- Experience maintaining own test environment
- Experience with Databases

- Strong analytical thinking and desire to solve problems.
- Strong knowledge of software development standards and quality assurance processes
- Ensures strong interaction and communication occurs between developers
