Role Description
The IMC Java developers are part of IMC Software Development team. He/she is part of the team responsible for developing our cutting-edge in-house Java applications, including:
- Front Office Trading applications
- Risk Management and other Mid Office applications
Key Accountabilities
The Java developers are involved in these application areas from the requirement phase to roll-out. After an initial introduction period your roles will include the following:
- Business Analysis
- Design
- Implementation
- Testing
- Roll out
Knowledge and skill requirements
- 4-7 years experience with large scale J2SE Java development
- Experience with mySQL is considered desirable
- Experience with Swing is considered desirable
- Experience with Unix (Linux) and Windows as a development platform
- Strong knowledge of different architectures and design patterns
- Understanding of the tools and processes required for large scale software development
- Bachelor or higher education degree and thinking level
