Role Description
This role will join our mid office team to support our trading operatoin. This person will be co-responsible for the smooth operation of day-to-day trading with the emphasis on saving costs and clarifying the risk involved with holding certain trade positions.
Key Accountabilities
- Review positions of traders on a daily basis and take independent action where necessary
- Streamlining management of IMC’s securities positions across various exchanges that serve as an arbitrage party
- Attending to IMC’s securities lending program
- Work in collaboration with the external clearing organization and serve as a liaison to clearing operations on behalf of the traders
- Coordinate actions with IMC’s own back office for the completion of specific transactions
- Make specific inquiries and carry out rectifications
- Draw up and send overview reports, calculate cost structures, and arrange extra entries
- Ability to automate data
- Further automation of standard operations while formulating reports from various perspectives using Access
- Research and exchange rules and trading opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 2-3 years work experience in a similar position
- Experience in the trading industry required
- Experience with trade position management preferred
- Experience with Access and Excel required
- Proficient with VBA
- Programming skills a plus!
