Role Description
The position of Senior Trader is one that combines experience with superior analytical and numerical skills. This role requires a person that is currently working for a trading firm or hedge fund that would like to join the trading team at IMC in a Senior Trading role. Key Accountabilities
As a member of IMC Chicago, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Pricing and trading financial products
- Entering into and managing positions for which you are responsible
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing trading models
- Researching new market opportunities and analyzing current market trends
Qualifications
- BA/MS in all majors with an analytical/quantitative related field of study
- 2-5 years experience at a trading firm or hedge fund
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Quick and decisive thinking
- Ability to act and perform successfully in a fast-moving and high-pressured environment
- Willingness to be a team player/leader before, during and after trading hours
- Eagerness to learn about trading and be willing to continuously learn
- Innovation and IT knowledge preferred, an interest in IT a must!
- VBA skills required, programming skills a plus
