System Administrator
The system administrator takes care of the Windows & UNIX-based servers, both hardware and software. Activities include installing, configuring and updating the system(s) and daily monitoring. Apart from the normal daily operations, the system administrator is also responsible for new IT projects within the competence area.

Application Administration
UNIX / Linux / Windows based applications you have to administer are:
- Sybase, MySQL, Apache, Confluence, Jira, Subversion etc.
- Monitoring tools (Zenoss, Cacti)
- Trading specific software: both 3rd party and in-house developed
- Microsoft Exchange 2007, Active Directory, AV Server
- Infoblox, VMware, TSM
Skills required
- Windows Server 2003, 2008 and Linux/Unix platforms RedHat Enterprise, CentOS, Fedora.
- Windows Exchange Server 2003, 2007
- Scripting including Shell Script, Perl, Python
- NetApp Filers, SAN/NAS storage including IBM Storage System
- VMware ESX Server, IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
- DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SNMP, LDAP, OpenSSH, TFTP / PXE / Network installations
- Configuration Management tools such as Puppet, ICFG, Func
- MySQL, Subversion knowledge is a definite advantage.
- Current LAN/WAN technologies
- Anti-Virus, WSUS Server, BES Server
Scripting experience is required. Basic Sybase and MySQL knowledge is definitely an advantage. Knowledge of Information Security would be a distinct advantage.
